The Lobby,
“There is no Here here.” A character simply named Old White Male (John Erdman) holds court in the lobbies of various apartment buildings in Buenos Aires and expounds with measured disgust on death, consciousness, and the state of contemporary human relations. The man’s mostly unsolicited remarks form an unsparing, stitched-together modern-day monologue that alternates between a...

哇,那么深,那么反光,那么布雷赫蒂安,那么无所不知,那么多角度探索太空,但是你已经知道了,包括我的一星级评论,不是吗?(wow, so deep, so reflective, so Brechtian, so all-knowing, so much exploration of ***** with the angles, but you are already knew that, including ** 1-star review, no?)

10/12/2020, @ NYFF58 Virtual Cinema. Venting 75 mins straight. “You’re overwhelmed by the feeling that there’s always one person too many on this planet and that person is you.” “And when I look into the camera, there might be eternity on the other side or just nothing.”
