The solid, thousand-year-old olive trees of Bchaaleh have survived the passage of time in silence. Presented as a giant triptych at the 2021 Venice International Architecture Biennale, this beautifully made video work is a poetic reflection on the memory of Lebanon and its ability to resist the vagaries of history.
